Hello.
Ice is Nice
Am falling in love (again) with Ice Pops (or Ice Poles if you are from Dundee). The blue ones are still the best. Though why blue = raspberry is anyone’s guess. I have found it’s the only thing that brings relief to my (still) sore throat.Daddy Day Care
So it’s our first day back in Toronto after being in Scotland and today I am looking after Abigail while AJ is out getting her hair done and running some errands.
I’ve discovered that trying to tidy the house while looking after a 1 year old is totally counter productive. As I type this, she’s pulling all the DVDs out of the DVD shelves. Earlier she was playing with mummy’s make up (something I didn’t notice until she had put on foundation and lipstick - I grabbed her just as she started mascara).
My most amusing observation is that despite having many (many) toys to play with, today she seems most content to crawl around the house while holding a tampon in each hand. Oh well.
When I was in Dundee I visited my friend Rick (who’ll be here in Toronto to return the favour in a week or so!) who showed me a game for the Wii that after playing for 3 minutes I got hooked. Mum, Dad - I know I’ll make your day when I tell you I bought the game with your birthday money, so you are responsible for this:
AJ played it last night, and despite saying she initially thought it was stupid, then spent the next 40 minutes getting sucked in. I gave up and went to bed. So yes, we’re both hooked. Plotts family - if you don’t have this already, you might want to invest.
