My Birthday Week
Well what a fun week we are having. This Saturday is my birthday but we fly out to the UK on Monday so in order to make sure we celebrate my birthday in full, we’re having sort of a birthday week before we leave.The week started out amazingly well, when my wife came home on Monday night with her present for me… which was a Nintendo Wii! Having been a little bit of a video gamer in years gone by, I was thrilled to have this new little console which we immediately hooked up to the TV. We’re going to make good use of this when we have friends over!
Speaking of friends - my birthday week has been made all the better by the addition of our very good friends, Gary & Sarah Morgan, who’ve come up for the week to hang out with us. Between the four of us, we are already ruling at Tennis and Bowling on the Wii.
Tomorrow we are all taking Abigail to the zoo for her first ever visit! And then on Saturday we are all going to see the new Pixar movie WALL•E - you can tell that this week is filling my love tank up nicely! I love birthday weeks!
